Precaution for use of the Top Grip Busch bur

The allowed rotation speed for the Top Grip is between 5,000 and 10,000 revolutions per minute. However, it is advised for dry application to reduce the rotation to its minimum, especially for at-risk patients.

Some safety and hygiene tips for Busch burs

• Ensure that the bur is properly inserted into the handpiece of the milling machine
• Do not exceed the maximum speed indicated on the packaging
• Strictly follow the hygiene steps: Pre-disinfection; disinfection; sterilization
• Never brush the bur with a copper brush but with a synthetic brush.
• During disinfection in an ultrasonic device, ensure not to place the burs freely in the ultrasonic device. Place the burs in a bur holder (such as Steri-Safe)
• Regardless of the product used for bur disinfection, always strictly follow the dosage and soaking time specified on the product.
