The advantages of the Top Grip Busch bur

Precautions for using the Top Grip Busch bur

The permitted rotation speed for the Top Grip is between 5,000 and 10,000 revolutions per minute. However, it is advisable to reduce the rotation to its minimum for dry application especially for risk patients.

Some safety and hygiene tips for Busch burs

• Ensure that the bur is properly inserted into the handpiece of the milling machine
• Do not exceed the maximum speed indicated on the packaging
• Properly follow the steps of hygiene : Pre-disinfection; disinfection; sterilization
• Never brush the bur with a copper brush but with a synthetic brush.
• When disinfecting in an ultrasonic device, ensure not to freely place the burs in the ultrasonic device. Place the burs in a bur holder ( Steri-Safe for example)
• Whatever the product used for the disinfection of burs, always properly respect the dosage and soaking time indicated on the product.
