The Podiabland Herbitas silicone paste is used in orthoplasty to make custom orthotics. With a shore of 12-15 the silicone is moderately flexible, it will be possible to make comfort orthotics, and to relieve pain due to pressure and/or friction. This silicone is also recommended for the manufacture of semi-corrective orthotics. The paste should be accompanied by a catalyst (sold separately) to harden it.

When should an orthotic be made?

To relieve, preventively protect or when pain is already present caused by friction, pressure or a bone deformation.
A slight correction in case of bone deformation, the orthosis then prevents a worsening of the problem.
A correction to try to reposition the toes in their original position.

How to choose your silicone?

For protection, relief, choose a soft and flexible silicone.
For a slight correction, then use a slightly more solid and hard silicone. (There should be no contraindications)
The Blanda Blanda (Shore 4): Is used for very flexible orthotics to relieve and/or protect
The Podiabland (Shore 12-15): For the production of relief and semi-corrective orthotics.
Master Series (Shore 25-26): For the manufacture of corrective orthotics.

Herbitas silicones are extremely suitable for orthoplasty thanks to its advanced formula of an antibacterial active and hydroxiprolisilane.
Their silicone does not tear and does not break. In addition, their silicone hardens very easily.
