The Podiabland Herbitas silicone paste is used in orthoplasty to accomplish custom orthotics. With a shore of 12-15, the silicone is moderately flexible, making it possible to create comfort orthotics, and to relieve pain caused by pressure and/or friction. This silicone is also recommended for the manufacture of semi-corrective orthotics. The paste must be accompanied by a catalyst (sold separately) to harden it.

In which cases should orthotics be made?

To relieve, protect preventively or when pain is already present caused by friction, pressure, or bone deformation.
A slight correction in case of bone deformation, the orthotic then prevents the problem from worsening.
A correction to try to reposition the toes in their original position.

How to choose your silicone?

For protection, relief, choose a soft and flexible silicone.
For a slight correction, then use a slightly more solid and hard silicone. (There should be no contraindications)
Blanda Blanda (Shore 4): Is used for very flexible orthotics to relieve and/or protect
Podiabland (Shore 12-15): For the creation of relief and semi-corrective orthotics.
Serie Master (Shore 25-26): For the manufacture of corrective orthotics.

Herbitas silicones are extremely suitable for orthoplasty thanks to its advanced formula with an antibacterial agent and hydroxiprolisilane.
Their silicone does not tear or break. Moreover, their silicone hardens very easily.
