Silkafix is a fixation adhesive tape made of artificial silk. It is suitable for the fixation of dressings, compresses. In the hospital environment, Silkafix is used for the fixation of venous catheters, cannulas, drainages, and probes. Despite its strong adhesion, it can be removed from the skin without leaving any residue and remains gentle on the skin. Silkafix is packaged in a roll, and can therefore be torn to the required size. It is available either in 1.25cmx5m or in 2.5cmx5m
