What does the Silipod Rep Bi-Component Syringe contain?

The Bi-Component Syringe is composed of two pastes:

• A flesh-colored paste represents the base
• The other paste, which is white, represents the catalyst.

The equal mixing of these two pastes will allow for the repair, finishing, and recharging of all types of orthotics.

Instructions and precautions for Silipod Rep

• First of all, wash your hands thoroughly. Especially if gloves were worn before
• Equip yourself with a spatula and a clean and degreased support (plastic, glass, block for orthoplasty, ...)
• Properly mill and degrease the orthotic, paying close attention to the part to be repaired
• Then, take an equal part of flesh-colored paste and white paste. The amount to be taken will depend on the repair to be done
• By gently pressing on the syringe piston, mix the two pastes with the spatula for 10 seconds in a homogeneous manner
• Apply this mixture to the part of the orthotic to be repaired or recharged
• Depending on the ambient temperature, the working time is approximately 3 minutes
• When the result has hardened (+/- 5 min), immerse the orthoplasty in hot water (+/- 3 min) to accelerate the catalysis process and stabilize the silicone
• Milling and finishing are possible immediately
• Be sure to close the syringe immediately after taking and store at room temperature (+/- 20°C)
