The advantages of the Top Grip Busch burr

Precaution of use of the Top Grip Busch burr

The rotational speed allowed for the Top Grip is between 5,000 and 10,000 revolutions per minute. However, it is advisable to lower the rotation to its minimum especially for patients at risk.

Some safety and hygiene tips for Busch burrs

• Make sure that the burr is well inserted in the handpiece of the milling machine
• Do not exceed the maximum speed indicated on the packaging
• Respect the steps of hygiene: Pre-disinfection; disinfection; sterilization
• Never brush the burr with a copper brush but with a synthetic brush.
• During disinfection in an ultrasonic device, make sure not to freely place the burrs in the ultrasonic device. Place the burrs in a burr holder ( Steri-Safe for example)
• Whatever product is used for the disinfection of the burrs, always respect the dosage and soaking time indicated on the product.
