The rotation speed allowed for the Side Grip is between 5,000 and 10,000 rpm. However, it is recommended for dry application to reduce the rotation to its minimum especially for at-risk patients.

Some safety and hygiene tips for Busch cutters

• Make sure the cutter is properly inserted into the handpiece of the milling machine
• Do not exceed the maximum speed indicated on the packaging
• Respect the steps of hygiene: Pre-disinfection; disinfection; sterilization
• Never brush the cutter with a copper brush but with a synthetic brush.
• During disinfection in an ultrasound device, make sure not to freely place the cutters in the ultrasound device. Place the cutters in a cutter holder ( Steri-Safe for example)
• Whatever the product used for the disinfection of the cutters, always respect the dosage and soaking time indicated on the product.
